My name is Stella and I’m an 18-year-old Indonesian living in Switzerland.
I’ve started blogging “way back” in 2008 on Livejournal but stopped after about half a year. It was only in December 2010 that I started blogging again. Partly out of boredom and partly because of a strong wish to improve my English, this blog was created one and a half-year ago. Ever since then I’ve been mostly blogging about the perks of living my life and sharing my photography with the whole world. I started out as a full-time text blogger but soon moved on to be a photo blogger. Nowadays I’m posting text posts as well as photo posts. (Though more than half of my text posts could be considered as “ramblings of a teenager-turning-adult”.)
My interests lay in everything cultural: This ranges from literature to film and theater, to music, to fashion and design, to travelling and, of course, to the arts, especially photography.
About my photography: I’ve started to take my first serious (with thinking before pressing down the button) photographs in 2007. From 2007 until spring 2012 I took all my photos with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ6 and ever since May 2012 I’ve been photographing with a Canon EOS 550d.
Photography is one of my biggest passions and the one activity that allows me to relax and work at the same time. Since I was very little the idea of capturing a certain heart-moving sight forever has fascinated me and eventually brought me to photography, something I practise with all my heart and soul.
I’m constantly striving for improvement and am very glad for any constructive criticism I could get on my photos. Nevertheless I’d like to remind and ask you that my photos are not to be copied or spread without my permission. If you’d like to spread my photos further please contact me.
Now that all is said and done, I wish you a happy reading!
PS: Comments and likes are always appreciated, of course. 😉
